Pharmacists to ease GP pressure

Pharmacy Contracts Approved with the aim to set changes in Wales

Control of entry will be set to be similar to the one in England. Currently, NHS contracts are approved in Wales according to the "necessary / Expedient test". This test results in new pharmacy contract being granted only if patients are deemed not to be able to access prescription medicine quickly enough.
